Breakfast and After School Club Aims

At St Francis, we understand the challenges that modern family life brings, and we strive to support our parents by providing a safe, nurturing environment for children before and after school. Our Breakfast Club and After School Care programmes are designed to offer flexibility and peace of mind for parents, whilst ensuring that children start and end their day in a positive, engaging way. We welcome all children from Reception to Year 6, providing them with a comfortable and stimulating environment where they can thrive.

Our Breakfast Club opens at 7:30 AM, allowing parents to drop off their children early and continue with their day assured that their child is in safe hands. Children are offered a nutritious breakfast that includes a variety of options to cater to all dietary needs. Following breakfast, children can engage in quiet activities such as reading or drawing, providing a calm start to their school day. The club operates every school day, ensuring consistency and routine for both parents and children. Breakfast Club is very popular it has become necessary for us to request that parents book in advance for places (up to 1/2 term in advance) if they wish to guarantee a place for their child. If you would like your child to attend then please contact the school office or use the online booking form available on My Ed.

The After School Care programme begins at the end of the school day and runs until 6:00 PM. It includes a structured schedule that involves a mix of free play, organized games, and homework support, all conducted under the supervision of our qualified staff. Our aim is to bridge the gap between school and home life smoothly, allowing children to decompress from the school day and gradually transition to their evening at home.
