Year 6 have been busy exploring the fascinating world of electricity! Through a range of exciting, hands-on science experiments, the children have been developing their understanding of how electricity works and how it can be used safely.

They have enjoyed building and testing electrical circuits, investigating which components are needed to make a circuit work, and experimenting with different ways to make bulbs light. They also explored the mysterious world of static electricity, discovering what happens when electrical charges build up.

As well as having fun investigating electricity, the children have been learning about the dangers of electricity and how to use electrical devices safely. Their curiosity, teamwork and enthusiasm have really shone through during these practical science lessons!
