This week in assembly we reflected on how we listen to God and how our Actions are louder than words.
Monday 21st September
In this week's assembly we reflected on the theme 'Generous and Just'.
We explored Jesus’ parable of the workers in the vineyard and reflected on the meaning of fairness. The children listened to the story of St Bernadette which reminds us that God sees the value in every person and gives His love freely to us all.
The children were invited to show their generosity to others by contributing to our Harvest Charity collection for The Maldon Food Pantry.
Monday 14th September
This week, we reflected on Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 18:21–35, thinking about the importance of forgiveness.
Monday 7th September
Today, Mrs Peear and our RE Ambassadors led a whole-school Gospel assembly, reflecting on Matthew 18 and the reminder that Jesus is with us whenever we gather in His name.
We also explored how our School Mission Statement connects with the values of St Francis of Assisi — Love Christ; Love Others; Care for Creation; Serve with Joy — and the animals representing the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
Thursday 3rd September
This morning, Mrs Peear led a special assembly to celebrate the start of our new academic year. We revisited our School Mission Statement and offered prayers for all members of our school community, asking for God’s guidance and blessings for the year ahead.
